You will always be a bride.
My first friend was married. This June. I attended a beautiful reception. It kind of seemed like a practice run to me. As if someone set it up especially for me so that I could get use to the idea of friends getting married. But this was no set up. This was love. Oh they were so in love. It was obvious as he held her close when they danced and surely whispered sweet nothings in her ear. It was true, wonderful, pure, love. It momentarily made me what to run outside and fall in love. I guess this is the beginning of many friends that will run outside and fall in love. I am at that age where everyone is learning to love. This is just the beginning of a grand domino effect. The next domino will fall this July. Although this first friend marriage was not a practice one, I think I will be more prepared as I see other friends marry the man of their dreams.
