Manuel Andres Zamora

Manuel Andres is NOT a roommate. I repeat Manuel Andres is NOT a roommate.

Roommate week is over.

Luckily my roommate Vivian Danella has an amazing brother who we see often.

Manuel. He has kind of become an adoptive brother to Allred 11. Thus deserves full recognition on my humble blog.

Manuel Andres is attending the University of Utah. Which I totally approve of. He is pretty much a genius to has high expectations and ambitions for his life.

When he first came home from his mission a little over a year ago he was probably the most awkward person I had ever met. Luckily one day when he came to visit Viv in room #316 she wasn't home, thus he was forced to become friends with Ash and I. Ever since the awkwardness level has dropped significantly, I would even say we are great friends with Manuel Andres.

He is really a go to guy when Allred 11 needs help. He is full of wisdom and knowledge. He also knows how to make stuff up for us.

Like a good brother he also finds a way to tease us all.

His style is probably better than mine. His hair looks good long. Sometimes I tell him it looks great when I haven't even looked at it. He is musical. And a little nerdy maybe.

Manuel, you are a great friend and older adoptive brother to Allred 11. Come anytime. Come all the time.

A Birthday Wish

There are so many things to LOVE about Ashley Burgess.

On this, her birthday, I would like to name 10.

1. Ashley is kind of quiet as you first get to know her, but watch out because she will surprise you with her whitty comments. (I will always remember the Stevie one on the way home from Conference!)

2. I love that she will go to all of the churchy things available at BYU with me.

3. She is so strong. Watch her do the thirty day shred with Jillian!

4. She is smart. So smart. She does super well in school. And she works so hard to do well.

5. She is a great driver. Seriously she got us so many places safely and in a timely fashion.

6. She is selfless. She is always thinking of other people before her own needs.

7. She is funny. Oh she does make me laugh.

8. She is sincere. With everything she does. If she likes your shirt she means it.

9. She is ridiculously good at Ice Skating. She should be in the movie Ice Princess. She could totally pull it off.

10. She is also a ballerina. I have never actually seen her in action, but I sure she is graceful because she holds herself with grace.

Ashley Burgess is my roommate and one of my best friends! We have such fun times together and I love her!

A Birthday Wish

Today I wanted to just make a birthday shout out to my roommate and friend Vivian Danella Zamora.

Let me just tell you a few things about Viv.

~When we first met she gave me a big awkward hug. She obviously didn't know that I wasn't the hugging type. But I guess that really broke the ice in those first moments.

~Vivian stays up late. I don't really know how late (because I am definitely asleep). But she consistently stays up far later than I do. Except for the nights I have to stay up late to register. Thanks Viv :)

~Vivian is very outgoing. She makes friends with practically everyone she comes in contact with. I am thankful I was paired with someone that could teach me how to make friends.

~Vivian brings out the best in people. I think it is because she always looks for the good in people, and when she finds it she lets them know.

~Vivian is so funny. And when we are together we are so funny. Even if no one else thinks so.

~ The Chipmunks would be completely incomplete without Vivian.
