6 Great Memories
1. When we just moved in we had some issues with our plumbing. We needed a little help from maintenance but it was late and they were out for the day. So looking through the options we saw that we could contact the university police. So we did. Viv took the phone and was so funny. I don't remember what she said but it was witty. We laughed. A lot! It was a real bonding moment.
2. Although I have already told this story it was so great it needs to be told once more. We were kind of bored one night and wanted to do a little service for our friends. So we got some air fresheners for their room. To get them out of their room we "broke our blinds" and had them "fix" them. It was overall a funny experience. We laughed. A lot!
3. During the Christmas season we needed to celebrate. So we had a roomie christmas morning with a roomie christmas breakfast. We also opened our roomie presents. We made a roomie christmas dinner. We read a christmas story as roomies. We even sent roomie christmas movies to our bishopric and friends. It was a perfect christmas.
4. One time we all got asked to a semi formal dance. Some of the greatest guys asked us so we wanted to look extra cute :) We put on some typical girl music, sang at the top of our lungs, and got ready for the experience of a lifetime. It was seriously so fun to all get dressed up.
5. Once I was on a date with a boy named Ryan. We were getting things to make smoothies with and trying to decide where to make them. Knowing there would be couples galore at his apartment we decided to go back to my apartment to do it, trying to avoid that scene. When we walked through the door Ashley and Ben were at the table and Viv and Javier were on the couch. The only room left was in the kitchen. Perfect. Three couples. So much for avoiding that. At least these couples were not all engaged :)
6. Sometimes boys came to our apartment. We have four boys that are especially talented. They sing. Really well. Countless times they arrived at our door and put a smile on our faces with their songs. Thank you Randy, Greg, Stevie, and Jacob.
