Tonight I decided to take a trip down memory lane.
I was remembering back in the very first months of my college experience.
As roommates we really had some good times.
On Tuesday September 8th we were particularly bored.
Sometimes we go to drastic measures in order to accomplish random acts of service. Our mission on this particular occasion was to help two friends, Davis and Randy.

Earlier in the week while visiting their apartment, we noticed their home didn't smell... good. So we hopped into the car and off to the store we traveled.
After picking up the best scent in the air freshening department we got back in the car and began to plan for this attack.
This was a secret mission so we had to get them out of the house. I took the role of the helpless girl who "broke" the blinds. Viv and Ash would break in while they were gone.
The plan was set, and it was time to take action. I stepped to the door and told them of my tragic blind problem. They ate it up. In no time they were in my apartment "fixing" the "broken" blinds. I was secretly laughing on the inside because they were trying so hard. I watched as they struggled to do this simple task. Although they were probably only struggling since they thought something was really wrong.
Meanwhile back at their apartment Ash and Viv left them a surprise from the Chipmunks and enjoyed conversation with the third roommate Efren (who is just a cool guy).
In order to keep them in my apartment as long as possible allowing time for Viv and Ash to get out, I also had them open a jam jar and tried to give them something for their services, which they just couldn't accept. Right as they left Ash and Viv were back.
Mission Accomplished.
I think they were kind of embarrassed once they found out we set up the blind situation. But it was truly one of the funniest moments for the girls in room 316. We really bonded over this experience. After we swapped stories of what happened we just sat and laughed about how funny the situation is.
To this day sometimes I look at the blinds and laugh...
